Please pray for Igor: 10-day orphan camp and his opportunity to participate in orphan leadership forum and orphan summit in Nashville

Many of you who read this will recognize Igor Klishchenko, minister to Russian orphans in the Kaluga region of Russia.
Igor is one of very few Russian men who are involved in full-time ministry to orphans.
Children who spend their lives in orphanages very much need a father figure in their lives.
As Igor says, "If orphans need a father's love, I will take it to them."
Also, he shares with orphan children about their loving heavenly Father and how they can be a part of His kingdom.
As we write this, Igor is heading into a very intensive 10-day camp for orphans.  He asks that we pray for him and his ministry as he goes forth.  As Igor wrote to us today:  "The next 10 days will be difficult but it is very welcome!"
We recently learned that Igor has been invited to participate in the Global Leadership Forum, a gathering of world orphan ministries that takes place two days before the Orphan Summit 2013 in Nashville, Tennessee.  (If you are not aware of the Orphan Summit, you can learn more on their website here.)
Igor has a very busy and intense schedule working with orphans.  The Leadership Forum and the Summit would provide an opportunity for him to experience refreshment and renewal, to learn about other orphan ministries, and to share his experiences with others.
Some friends of Igor in the USA are raising funds to help buy his airline ticket.  Cost will be about $1,200.  If you know of anyone who is interested in donating to help get Igor to the Forum and the Summit, can you let them know about this posting?

Pastor George and his wife provide family for more than 100 children

Pastor George Fernandes in India just sent us this delightful photo of children at their orphanage in Bangalore.
Pastor George and his wife oversee four orphanages.  They are also involved with widow ministry, pastor training, and church planting.
You can meet more of the children at the four orphanages and read some of their stories here.

Tanya: Russian orphan buried at the backside of the cemetery

MEET TANYA... a Russian orphan who died and was buried at the back side of the cemetery.  The cemetery caretaker decided to place her grave in the far field because he knew she was an orphan.  He reasoned that no one would come to visit her grave because she was an orphan.
Thanks to the orphan ministry of Igor Klishchenko, Tanya died knowing that she has a loving heavenly Father.  On earth, she was an orphan.  In heaven, she is a child of the Living God and will live and rejoice with Him eternally!
You can read Igor's touching tribute to Tanya here.

Meet the children at India's New Hope Orphanage in Bhadrachalam

Children at this orphanage are now smiling:  they have food, clothing, education, and a loving Christian home!
When Pastor George Fernandes first visited this remote tribal village near Bhadrachalam, the children had no clothing and were eating mud in order to fill their stomachs and get relief from hunger.
Today, the children are smiling, well-fed, clothed, are going to school, and have a loving, Christian home.
You can meet all the children at this New Hope for Children Orphanage and learn more about them by clicking here.

Are you happy today! Enjoy the jubilation of singers from New Hope for Children orphanage!

We are greatly blessed to experience orphans ministering to other children!

In addition to looking after the children in four orphanages, Pastor George and his wife Jyothi conduct church camps for children.

If you are not already happy today, you will be after you view this video of the children at New Hope Orphanage in Bangalore singing at one the children's camps.

Enjoy!
